The Animal Crossing Camp is designed for teenagers and adults, offering an interactive and immersive experience. Participants can engage in activities like bug catching and fishing using VR and haptic technology, compete in cooking challenges, and fully immerse themselves in a world that feels just like Animal Crossing. This camp brings the beloved game to life, creating a unique and engaging environment for all attendees.

Challenges
Creating an Engaging Pre-Camp Experience: Ensuring that participants remained engaged and excited during the waiting period before the camp began.
Building an Interactive System: Building that easy to understand, fun, and rewarding, encouraging participants to stay engaged throught the event.
Integrating Digital and Physical Elements for Immersion: Engaging while ensuring physical elements, like character cards and the welcome package, aligned with the digital experience.
My Approach
Website Creation:
I built a user-friendly website to facilitate easy sign-ups and provide all the necessary information for campers. This was the first step in ensuring that people could join the camp and start engaging with the content right away.
Interactive Personality Test:
To keep participants engaged before the camp started, I implemented a fun, Animal Crossing-themed personality test, "Which Animal Crossing character are you?" This allowed users to learn more about themselves and feel more connected to the camp’s theme.
Character Cards and Points System
During the proejct, I designed character cards that participants could collect and use to earn points (called “Bells”), which could be checked and accumulated. This added an element of gamification and excitement as campers could track their progress and engage with the experience even more.

Results
The results were highly positive. The website's user interface was well-received, making the sign-up process easy and accessible. The personality test became a fun, engaging activity for participants, helping them connect with the camp even before it started. The character card system motivated campers to participate actively, and the Bells added a layer of fun and reward to their experience. The welcome package further enhanced the personalized touch of the camp, leaving participants excited for what was to come.
Future Plans
In the future, I plan to expand the interactive features of the website, perhaps by adding more mini-games or camp-themed activities that participants can engage in before and during the camp. I also aim to integrate the point system with additional rewards that are redeemable for real-world items or exclusive content. Moreover, I want to improve the personalized experience by adding more character-driven elements to increase immersion and interaction.
Conclusion
This project successfully combined creativity and technology to enhance user experience. By integrating gamification, personalization, and interactive content, I created a more engaging experience for campers while showcasing my design and development skills. It also provided valuable insights into keeping participants excited and engaged.
